It "works" but requires a lot of patience. I've never had major problems with SanDisk products. That's why I chose this flash drive for iPhone and not other brands I wasn't sure about. I think if you buy this to use with iPad or iPhone. Once pasted, you will be prompted to install the ixpand app. Well the app worked for a while before I couldn't move the files and instead I got a message saying "The operation failed, please try again later." Good idea, but does not deliver what the product description promises. Use on iPhone 7Plus with the latest iOS (11.4). The phone recognized the hard drive and offered to download the application. REVIEW UPDATE 07/06/2017: 4 stars downgraded to 3. This drive works VERY well but with major flaws. Since the end of April 2017, SanDisk has been working on a patch for its application to fix this problem. Here's the problem: the app only shows a portion of the photos you're trying to copy. You will scroll through black screens that only occasionally appear here and there in the thumbnails. (See photo below) Good news: There are photos. ** Update July 26, 2016: SanDisk Support was able to resolve an issue with protected files on a Mac.
