Great storage for heavy computer users!

After trying this external hard drive, I can confidently say that it's a game-changer for those who work with large amounts of data on their computers. The 24TB capacity is unbeatable, and the transfer speeds are lightning fast. It's reliable and durable, ensuring that my data is safe and secure. The only downside is the price, but it's worth every penny for those who require such high storage capacity. Overall, I highly recommend this external hard drive for any heavy computer user in need of…

Pros
  • High storage capacity of 24TB
Cons
  • May require additional power source for operation

Do not purchase. This system is no longer supported! no drivers to configure! I am using this device on Raid 1 (mirrored). So if a drive fails, simply replace it and no data will be lost. Well, this simple function cannot be performed with this device. No more support (because g-tech was acquired by WD) and no configuration software available. "G-RAID with Thunderbolt Configurator" is software that allows you to re-mirror a "degraded" system (single drive failure). However, "G-RAID with…

Pros
  • RAID 0 Ready, configurable for RAID 1 (Mirroring) or JBOD
Cons
  • No

Super Saver - Computers and Accessories

In the past I've played around with 2 or 3 drives to save money. You probably spent more time transferring files to free up disk space and save $100. Bought this raid to end my transfer blues. I'm glad I did. The time saving is already paying off. Fast, reliable and works great. Now I can use smaller hard drives to store files when I'm done with projects in the raid.

Pros
  • Chaining up to 5 additional devices
Cons
  • Problems
