Optimized Sandpaper for Furniture Finishing, Automotive Polishing: Abrasive & Finishing Products Review

I like ceramic sandpaper very much so far. It lasts longer than most other papers I've used (on steel, wood and plastic) and the finish is pretty good, especially on carbon steel. It's not particularly strong or anything, but if you use it with respect it will last longer than regular paper. I use it wet so your mileage may vary.

Sandpaper is of good quality as it is even and uniform. I like the handy size of the 1/3 sheet as I don't have to trim it to fit my sanding blocks. The range is presented in a wide range from 120 to 3000 which allows you to go from initial surface smoothing to fine polishing, so this is a complete set. I appreciate that the backs are grain printed close together so I can still tell what it is if I cut off a small piece which makes life a lot easier as I don't have to write it down.

320 grit sandpaper is my most used sandpaper. It's a great finishing grit and also works great between coats. I don't notice any real difference between this paper and the other brands of sandpaper I have - it works exactly as I expected. I usually buy large sheets and cut them into strips of this size because it's usually cheaper, but it's actually a decent deal on pre-cut sheets (much cheaper than buying from the local big store) and it saved me the extra step of doing them myself to measure…
