I put some of this in a hand sandpaper holder to sand down a raw piece of cedar I ordered from Revain. The sand was perfect for what I wanted and it turned out great. Save the rest of the sheets for other projects. Will definitely buy this brand again if I need other grits.

These are the only items I will use to clean accumulated soap scum and hard water stains from my glass shower enclosure. Ordered this after being frustrated with the papers you could buy at your local hardware store. The grit is denser than traditional sandpaper, giving it excellent resistance to woods such as basswood, elm, maple, birch and ash. The only downside is that paper tends to be brittle, as at least some others have pointed out. It tends to crack and fall apart before the sand wears out.
