📻 Sangean DT-400WSE Digital Weather Alert Pocket Radio (Red) - Special Edition AM/FM Model Review

This is a nice little radio and I'm very concerned about sound quality. This is especially good considering the size. I can carry it in my pocket and often do. I would recommend this radio.

The perfect companion for camping, cycling etc. Battery life is excellent with just a pair of AA batteries. Headphones are better, the built-in speaker is small and not very good, but that's not the point of a pocket radio. Would buy again.

I love this new red Sangean DT400 radio. This is the only brand I have ever bought. I had another one that lasted 10 or more years before I replaced it. It's also comfortable to use with excellent reception and sound. I have a pair of Bose in-ear headphones that I use and they are fantastic. I am more than happy with my purchase.

Look elsewhere. The radio is useless without a wire antenna or headphones. Programming and then trying to use programming is frustrating and requires unnecessary learning. This radio is overpriced for what it is. Works well with headphones. I would like to return it but have not done so.

I ordered this radio to replace my wife's Sony Walkman which she loved and can't get anymore. She is very happy with it and said she found the reception and sound better. I love the style and functionality so much I think I'll order one for when I'm working outside and want to listen to talk radio or FM stereo. You won't be disappointed if you buy this little gem.

It turns out to be a really good reception. When listening without headphones, you need to connect a wired antenna. That's the only thing I don't like about it. However, it's okay. Great portable radio. I use it to listen to Georgia football games and Atlanta Braves baseball games at the stadium and it really adds to the experience. I was a bit suspicious and insecure at first as it will certainly bring some ridicule, mostly in a playful way.
