Definitely made for a taller child

The product seems well made. I bought the small (35 inch length) for my 3 year old, he's 36 inches tall so I figured it would give him the best resistance so he could stretch it and get that sensory input he needs. It does not. Unless he makes a consistant effort (and let's face it, he's 3, that's not happening) to keep it pulled up on him, it just falls right off. This isn't a complaint about the quality of the fabric or product, my complaint is that if it's 35in in length, it should work for…

Pros
  • My 4 year old son with ADHD loves this and so do I! He is able to release energy in a new way.
Cons
  • This does not help with autism melt downs. At least it is not a comfort with my grand. Waste of money

Item not as described

I measured my son to make sure I ordered the appropriate size. This is way to big and is not as described as the picture. The picture shows a tighter neck area and instead it literally looks like an extra large pillow case. This doesn’t have any support on top from preventing it fromFalling

Pros
  • My son loves it. Will buy again.
Cons
  • Only available in one color, limiting options for individual preferences

3 year old LOVES it!

My 3 year old has some minor sensory issues, which cause her to become very difficult at times. I wasn’t sure how she would react to this sock, but it has proven to be a HUGE HIT!

Pros
  • Perfect
Cons
  • May not provide enough proprioceptive input for some individuals

Winner With a Design Flaw

My autistic child loves everything about this thing except the tag on the inside. It bewilders me why there would be a tag inside an item specifically designed for a demographic with sensory needs.

Pros
  • My ASDkids,loved
Cons
  • Inner lining may cause discomfort or irritation to sensitive skin

my son loves it best in my review

I have a son with sensory issues and a foster son with FASD. This helps them calm down and feel safe. It helps give them the deep pressure they crave and is easy to clean. I just toss it in the washer and then air dry.

Pros
  • son was so excited to use it..he has been living in the sock since I brought it home
Cons
  • Difficult to clean and maintain, may not be suitable for busy or messy environments

Nice price, not so nice sensory sock

So, this could have been awesome and it wasn’t even great. Right size for my son’s height but thin material and it doesn’t at all stay on like the picture implies. Donated it to school, can still be used as like a sensory tool where you don’t have to stand in it, but not right for our needs.

Pros
  • My son plays in this thing all the time. Guess its his little hide away. He seems to love it.
Cons
  • May not fit securely or stay in place during use

Would rate it a 10 if I could

My four year old has epilepsy paired with hyperactivity and trouble sleeping. He doesn't sleep without his "Green thing" (sensory sock). It calms him and makes him feel safe. I don't worry about him suffocating because the material is breathable. We have washed it probably 20 times by now and it's still holding up. I have told so many mom's about this. It is good for calming no matter the child.

Pros
  • My granddaughter is autistic and this provides the pressure that helps keep her calm.
Cons
  • Material may not withstand frequent use and could deteriorate quickly

Good for calming for my opinion

My daughter snuggles up in it when she gets a little nervous and it seems to help. It’s made so the place you get in can fold over and totally close up. The small was a bit too small for my 4 year old, but the medium was perfect for my 8 year old.

Pros
  • Great product for kids that like compression and deep pressure input. My almost 3 year old loves it!
Cons
  • May not provide enough stimulation or pressure for some sensory needs

It is good but not what my son needed

Fabric is soft and seems of good quality. I bought this one to try for my son after getting one similar but had buttons in the middle and the style with buttons is much better. This style of just being open does not give as much of the pressure / resistance my son needs at times.

Pros
  • Loved so much we bought another one for our autistic daughter
Cons
  • Limited size range, may not fit taller or larger children

Great for body awareness

My daughter really likes this but becomes frustrated because she can’t quite get the pressure she wants from it. It would be the perfect item if it had a hoodie, if there was some visual contrast so kids can easily identify how to put it on and if the bottom of the sack had some more traction so it’s not as slippery.

Pros
  • My son is 2year old he loves this sack it's best thing I have gotten him
Cons
  • My son struggles to keep it on properly, it causes fits.

Child With a Sensory Processing Disorder is in LURVE!

The child who was the inspiration for this purchase LOVED it. He kept looking for his "sack." It was adorbs. May be prohibitively expensive for some families.

Pros
  • Perfect for kids who need sensory input and like to be in close cuddly spaces
Cons
  • May be prohibitively expensive for some families

Small and doesn’t stay up like in pictures

I ordered a size small for my 6 year old son. When it came he was so excited, but it was way too small for what it was intended for. Since he still wanted to "play” in it, i wasn’t able to return it for another size. It gets some use, but not enough for the cost since I’ll have to buy another at some point soon.

Pros
  • Great size for my 3yr old, helps him calm down.
Cons
  • It doesn’t work the way we had hoped. Wish it had been a Lilly smaller and had more stretch.

Love this product! best in my review

My son loves his body sock! Perfect for a child with sensory needs! My sad on is only 38 inches tall and it’s a little too big for him but I like that there’s room to grow.

Pros
  • great for my calming room
Cons
  • Sizing and material may not be comfortable for all body types
