I've tried other chewing gum products without wax but they were rubbish and didn't work at all, this one seems to win out if you forego wax EDIT : GENERAL NOT GOOD So three months later I pulled out the toilet to preemptively wriggle some roots and it's bad. holds water and deteriorates. After a year, I pulled out the toilet and was sadly surprised to find that the green outer layer was peeling off and the foam inside was soaked with water. It shouldn't be good.
