I wasted my money on this item

I bought this item and didn't bother to use it within the return period. When I tried it I found that it was too thick and there was nothing to do. According to the instructions, it is suitable for toilets with any flange height. The instruction lies. Do not use this product if the flange is flush with or above the floor. I spent money on this thing and now it's mine, but I can't use it and it's expensive. Thank you Sani Seal! If you really want the best, don't waste your money on this POS…

so far so good (NOT! 3 month update)

I've tried other chewing gum products without wax but they were rubbish and didn't work at all, this one seems to win out if you forego wax EDIT : GENERAL NOT GOOD So three months later I pulled out the toilet to preemptively wriggle some roots and it's bad. holds water and deteriorates. All this for 3 months usage? I warn anyone who has had this to remove their toilet and check it out. I don't use bleach so ruining it is just unacceptable, my flange is at the correct height with no protrusions

  • That's amazing

Ideal for sloping/leaking toilets on curved or sagging floors.

I bought this for a toilet that had two wax rings not working due to subsidence. This foam adapts to any draft and fits any sloping floor. You should also pick up two packs of Wobble Wedges if you use them in the same way for lining and lining the toilet. I only received a package of the standard rigid (clear) size and the plumber had to open the package he had as well. So far, a few weeks later, no leaks! I saw an episode of Ask This Old House where they used that with wobble. Wedges solve a…

Do not use, will wear out over time.

I'm sure these ratings will go down once this product is used at home. I loved this product 2 years ago when I first installed it and replaced the ring in my other two toilets with this one. I had to move the toilet yesterday expecting to see a reliable Sani Seal that can be reused. Instead, I saw the inner ring disintegrate. Luckily the seal was strong enough to leak when I found out, but no doubt it will fail at some point. The inside of the ring was about half destroyed and looked like…

Good idea, bad product.

I thought I'd like this idea. Good idea, bad product. After a year, I pulled out the toilet and was sadly surprised to find that the green outer layer was peeling off and the foam inside was soaked with water. It shouldn't be good. Now I have two other toilets that I need to take out and use what has always worked, wax. I can't imagine how many customers don't know about under toilet leakage. If anyone needs photos I can send them. Don't risk water damage. I was lucky, I had to pull out the…
