🔍 Powerful and Compact Sanitaire Extend Canister Vacuum SC3683D - Ultimate Cleaning Performance Review

I live in a small apartment and this vacuum cleaner is perfect. Its motor is noisy so I wait until I'm sure my neighbors will wake up before using it. But the suction is great and it's very light and easy to move around. It's very easy to clean up after my dog who sheds a lot. I REALLY want the hoses etc somehow not to pull wool out as I have to suck off parts of the vacuum when using it.

They have served me well over the years. When my ex took my last one, I decided to upgrade to the Sanitaire version because it still had nicer attachments, including a horsehair bristle brush. I have a cleaning business and use about 12 strong mites (some from Sanitaire and some from Eureka) every day. These red sanitaires are the worst I've had in 20 years with powerful mites. The plastic on the bottom is so thin it doesn't take long for them to break. Once cracked, you lose suction. It has such a strong suction that I can't use it on the floor or carpet with the knob closed because it's hard to squeeze. Despite the light weight, I wish the long stick was lighter as I need to keep it in the air when reaching the high corners of the ceiling. Good light and manoeuvrable vacuum cleaner with very high quality components. However, I really needed the blower function, so I sent it back. You can attach a hose to the outlet end to give it a "fan" function like the old canisters. However, this is more of a light breeze and not suitable for blowing dust out of cracks. We are very happy with our Sanitaire SC3683 cylinder vacuum. We've been using Eureka Mighty Mite vacuums for years but thought our last pair of Mighty Mites were a little cheaper. We have experienced broken attachments; disconnecting the hose where not intended; the on/off switch has fallen off; etc. They still sucked well, but we got tired of gluing and attaching parts. I've done a lot of research and it's very similar to Eureka Mighty Mite. It has the same amperage and uses the same bags and looks almost identical but comes with very high quality accessories. The metal telescopic rod is great. This makes it very easy to move quickly from surface to surface. The wand feels heavy, but it's not overly heavy and it's by far the best wand I've ever used.
