This device has the slickest mounting method I have ever seen. The wall would fall down before the unit could be pulled loose. The basket is very strong with a nice finish. If I ever need another, it will be this one.

I live in an apt. & had to find a soap dish that wouldn't mar the tub surround. I haven't had much luck with the simple suction cup hooks (suction eventually fails), so I was wary of this, but it was my best option and had good reviews, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Product worked great for 10 months, then lost adhesive and now will not stick to shower wall. Unfortunately this product uses sticky adhesive rather than a suction cup, rendering it useless at this point (unless I glue it to my shower, which I will not be doing).

I Can;t speak for other folks who have had problems with this soap holder but I found this very easy to install and it held even when I accidentally bumped it on several occasions. My bar of soap is bound to last longer because no water is trapped under it. It is nice to know that once trapped inside of the wire cage it will not decide to fall out onto the shower floor. I live in an apartment and I guess the next occupant wil inherit it.

I really like these soap holders. They are sturdy, have clean lines and installed easily. We have an acrylic tub surround which is the surface upon which these were applied. I will post an update after they have been in place awhile to comment on how well the suction holds.

Stuck to shower wall briefly and then fell off. Followed directions but didn't work. Ended up flipping the wire basket upside down and placing it on the edge of the tub for my soap to sit on. Recommend not buying.

This product was what I needed to keep my soaps from floating in water on the shower shelf. The stainless steel material rusts easily! It was easy to install.

For years we used a soap dish where adhesion was achieved by simply pressing the suction cup to the shower wall. It worked, but every 4 months or so it would fall down, noisily. And we would clean it up and apply it again. And again. This SANNO soap dish is radically different. My impression is that it uses a diaphragm mechanism to create suction, and as you turn the knob, you increase the amount of suction applied to the shower wall. Purchased 2 of them in April of 2021 (writing the review in Dec 2022). Followed installation instructions and both are still going strong.

My only gripe is that I was gifted a huge bar of soap for Christmas and it doesn't fit in the basket. However, even though the bar is much larger that what's intended for the holder, it doesn't sag or droop at all, and the suction has held perfectly. And it's not a concern with the product not fitting the soap, more like a concern with the soap not fitting the product, if that makes any sense.Ridiculously easy to install. Suction holds tight without damaging tile. Prevents bar soap from getting slimy and gross. Good quality, sturdy, and exactly what we needed.

Easy to install. Suction power seems strong. Actually so strong I’m wondering how I’ll ever get this soap holder off if needed!
