Description of 🩹 BraceAbility Sarmiento Brace - Effective Humeral Shaft Fracture Splint Cast for a Large Broken Upper Arm, Shoulder, Bicep and Humerus Bone, with Stockinette, Sling, and Cuff Support

TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE - Worn on your right or left arm, the versatile shoulder brace features strong fastener straps and D-rings for one-handed adjustments. Size Large fits bicep circumferences of 14 to 16 inches. TESTED AND PROVEN - Promoting the healing and recovery of long-bone humerus fractures, the clamshell Sarmiento brace compresses your surrounding muscles and soft tissues. TARGETING COMPRESSION - Its cylinder-shape provides a stabilizing force equal in all directions (circumferential compression), which limits motion at the fractured site so it can heal correctly. Lightweight and durable. MULTIPLE USES - Used to stabilize a fracture in your upper arm while leaving your elbow free, allowing motion in your forearm and hand. The cuff-style arm sling offers additional support and immobilization. Stockinette sleeve for added comfort. 45-DAY GUARANTEE - Purchase with confidence. We will do whatever it takes to ensure your satisfaction.

Worst medical product.

Painful wearing with tingling and unstable use. A piece of junk, it should be easily replaced by the medical community.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Band

Armrest Protector

Protects your arm so you can move it. Fingers don't swell, it's easier to sleep with them than with a bandage. I took it and asked the doctor if I could use it and she highly recommended and put it together.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Non-Automatic

Good quality but not one size fits all

Good product but not for shorter arms, the inside of the brace was too long to flex at the elbow. Also, the included cuff didn't stay in place and continued to slide down the arm.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Quick guide

Worst gear ever! p

Oh I broke my dominant upper arm a month ago and have been wearing this Torcheres splint ever since, it still hurts a lot! I totally agree with Christina and will go to another doctor tomorrow. "Do yourself a favor if you can and find something else. It makes old Indian bark wrap so much better!

Feels much safer

Okay, some reviewers are dreaming. So, I have 7+ maxillary fractures. The pain is stronger than ever. A breakthrough and not aligned, the rest are smaller fragments in the same area. I have a transplant and COVID in the States is worse than ever (11/20). Ortho doesn't want me to spend many days in the hospital so I wear a splint now. Accident 22 days ago. I don't know what their expectations are, but I'm satisfied and more comfortable! People have to remember not to throw so high and in our…

uncomfortable awkward difficult painful poorly designed horrible

When I broke my arm over 13 weeks ago, it was given to me by a podiatrist, not Revain. However, having lived with it for so long, I feel more than entitled to comment on its functionality. There is insufficient padding. Yes, you have to put on the 'knitwear' underneath, but it's shorter than the brace - which means the brace's hard edges rest on the inside of my elbow and cause bedsores. Relax. I ordered extra jerseys - you know what? The new ones are shorter than the original two! It remains…

Pros
  • Quality construction

  • Requires socket

My humerus seems well anchored so far, but it hurts to put it on by myself.

This is the second orthosis I have tried for my humerus that broke the midshaft a few weeks ago, bought on the recommendation of my orthopedic surgeon after using the results of the orthosis he has in his office wore, was dissatisfied so far. Compared to other corsets I have used I see several advantages and disadvantages of each over the other. Pros: Most importantly, this one still holds my humerus in place better than the first one, although I haven't x-rayed it since I got this one to…
