Description of Sashiko Needles Straight Thin Size Sewing

Speficially Designed Needles for Sashiko Stitching based on the active Sashiko artists voice. 4 needles in a beautiful clear plastic container. Size: 0.84mm x 51.5mm. When using the Sashiko thread in single usage, this "Big Eye Straight Thin Size" is the best choice. When you want to make double size stitching, have the thick size needles (coming soon.). Sashiko requires the needle to have very small needle-eye to avoid the damage to the fabric. This Needle is designed to have as "big eye" as possible for the best Sashiko Result.

Long needles

These needles are quite long and very sharp. They are perfect for sashiko embroidery. Because of the length of the needle, it's easy to make multiple long stitches. I would recommend using a traditional Japanese leather finger guard to push the needle through the indigo fabric. However, I don't find the eye of this needle to be particularly "big".

Pros
  • Sachiko requires the needle to have a very small eye so as not to damage the fabric. This needle is designed to have the largest eye possible to achieve the best sashiko result.
Cons
  • No Instructions

ALMOST PERFECT

Bought these needles for quilting with large stitches. They worked great - it was easy to thread both 12 watt yarn and size 8 pearl cotton. Did not bend with the firmware. Went through the shifts with no problems. Then something bad happened. The needle broke off in the eye. Thought it might be a bad batch. I took a needle from the second pack - I sewed it for several hours and the eye broke again. Luckily I was able to find these tiny bits so they wouldn't dig into the ceiling and wait for…

Pros
  • Specially designed sashiko needles based on the voice of active sashiko artists.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Good Sashiko Needles

These needles arrived quickly, nicely packaged, needles in a thoughtful box, needles in a glass tube with a small cork stopper. Threading the sashiko thread into the eyelet is not difficult. But I can't say I thought the eye was much bigger than other needles. Tulip and Olympus seem to be the cheapest sashiko needles considered to be of higher quality, some people prefer Tulip needles as they are thinner. than the needles of Olympus or Clover. But that's exactly what I've read in other people's

Pros
  • If you use single-use sashiko thread, this Big Eye Straight Thin Size is your best choice. If you want to sew a double stitch, use a thicker needle (coming soon).
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
