Satco S29589 Medium-Finish Bulb, Ideal for Standard Lighting Applications Review

These bulbs were installed in all the lamps in our new house. A year later, one died completely and four began flickering. This is from 25 or more commonly used devices. About 8 of them are only used 2-3 hours per month. Not at all up to the required number of hours.

I installed 8 of these bulbs in June 2019, the last one burned out in March 2020 so I came here to write a bad review. That's 100% failure in less than a year for a lamp that should last 5 years of my use. Not what I call a quality product. If 1 or even 2 of my 8 lightbulbs went out 5 years ago I wouldn't say anything and chalk it up to bad luck, marriage or whatever. All 8 but? Yes, I will no longer buy this brand.

I rented an apartment in a new building where they filled all the lamps with these lamps. 24 of them are in the apartment, in just 4 months 5 lamps have failed. Addendum: During the 8 months of rent, almost all the light bulbs failed, and some replacement lamps from the office that were identical in construction also failed. In all I believe 24 bulbs have failed including some spare bulbs. Out of 27 pears, only 5 original pears lasted 8 months.
