Nice and bright for bulbs

This is exactly what I was looking for. I ordered the first one and it works great. Not too bright, not too dark and the color temperature is just what I was looking for. I liked it so much that I ordered more.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Burned out in a week. Shit.

I have used CFL bulbs for many years and know how to take care of them. I carefully placed it in my lamp and have been using it for 3 or 4 hours since installing it last week. Yesterday I turned on the lamp and the bulb burned out. I threw the box away, of course, so I can't even return it. What a waste of $11. Perfect shit.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Closer to 2000 lumens - dishonest labeling.

NOT 2600 lumens no matter how much you let it heat up. I measured with a lux meter and compared it with a 150 W incandescent lamp. I'd say this 40 watt Satco S7334 lamp is closer to 2000 lumens - a good third or half a stop less than a tungsten lamp. Very disappointing, misleading and dishonest labeling.
