    OK -- Long switch-on delay!

    It's energy efficient but I HATE the delay (about 2-3 seconds) when first turning it on. I guess that's something I have to get used to in today's CFL world, but why does it take so long for some and almost instantly for others!?

    Very good light with three levels.

    It's quite large but works well. The first setting is activated after a short delay; then immediately turn on the second stage; The top, brightest setting has a short delay before turning on, but the light is really good.

    Took less than a month (bought at a hardware store)

    Terrible. I suspected that these lamps would not last as long as advertised, so I wrote the purchase date on the base of my lamp with a marker pen. The lamp I bought at a local hardware store lasted less than a month (11/14 - 12/12). I'll try to contact the manufacturer to see if it's covered under warranty, but not sure if I still have the receipt and/or the original packaging. In any case, I will not buy this light bulb again.
