Great addition to any computer setup!

My analysis of this hub showed that it provides easy connectivity and fast charging for multiple devices. The compact design also makes it convenient for travel. The only downside is that it can run hot during usage. Overall, a fantastic product for anyone looking to increase their USB capabilities.

Pros
  • Allows multiple USB-C devices to be connected simultaneously.

Does not work with monitors or charger

I connected this to my work Macbook Pro 2020 M1 to try and increase the capacity beyond the meager two ports to expand that Apple provides. This allowed me to connect my Wacom monitor and tablet to the hub, and also charge my laptop through the native port. (Seriously, all Apple had to provide was ONE more USB-C port, and I wouldn't even need that hub). Well, the tablet worked fine. But the monitor with the HDMI to USB-C cable received no signal at all. I tried as many combinations as I could…

Works with USB-C power adapter and sidecar adapter for iPad Pro.

I would try a USB -Finding Hub -C with 4 USB-C ports and making it work with what I need. Well, this hub does the trick, and the cost isn't nearly as high as more expensive hubs that can't deliver the performance. I've used an OWC Thunderbolt hub and it works great, but it's too big and bulky to carry around all the time. I needed a way to expand the two lame USB-C ports on my M1 Macbook Pro and support some (most) of the functionality that an OWC hub gives me. My priorities were: 1. Additional

Pros
  • PLUG & PLAY - Includes plug-and-play design for ease of use - just plug in your USB-C data devices or peripherals for a quick connection with no additional installation required
