It works, but the outer shell has come loose.

Works as expected. The only problem is that the outer cover has come off. Only used a few times, wasn't rough or overstretched. Qualitatively disappointed.

Poor quality but works

The outer case keeps falling off, peeling off after a week of use. It still works and the price was reasonable, but handling an uncovered USB port is very cumbersome and makes the item difficult to use.

Made of cheap plastic

This is a very light fork with a plastic body. I will update this review when I know how long it will last. Gave 3 stars because it works to charge my MacBook and iPad from a backup battery that doesn't have a USB-C port.

This little adapter is small but handy!

This little device bridges the gap between the old generation and the new generation! This gives you additional options when modern devices lack USB-C ports! Works great so far! I'll let you know if I have any further problems!

Satechi Type-A to Type-C Adapter Converter BAD

The USB-A side of the adapter is so loose that even the slightest movement of the computer or floppy drive will disrupt the drive's playback disables the adapter not only uselessly, but also destructively. All USB Type-A cables are suitable for our computers, so we are sure that the Satechi Type-A to Type-C adapter is seriously defective.

Until it breaks

I've been using this converter for two months with an old USB adapter from the iPhone. I hardly touch it - I just stick it in the wall. It was working fine until today when I tried to separate it it broke in two. After reading other negative reviews I realized that the product is really cheap and I will just pay more and buy a genuine Apple converter in the future.

USB A side of the adapter is so weakened that even the slightest movement of the computer or drive will dislodge the drive, rendering the adapter not only useless but also destructive. Very Useful Adapter

I recently bought a Satechi USB-C to SSD enclosure to use primarily with my laptop. However, this little adapter suggestion came from Revain and I thought it would come in handy if I ever wanted to connect this external SSD to one of my other systems that don't have a USB-C.
