It works, but the outer shell has come loose.

Works as intended. The only problem is that the outer cover has come off. Only used a handful of times, wasn't rough or overstretched. Qualitatively disappointed.

Very useful adapter

I recently bought a Satechi USB-C to SSD enclosure to use mainly with my laptop. However, this little adapter suggestion came from Revain and I thought it would come in handy if I ever wanted to connect this external SSD to one of my other systems that don't have a USB-C. Satechi Type-A to Type-C Adapter Converter NOT WORKING

The USB-A side of the adapter is so loose that even the slightest movement of the computer or drive will disconnect the drive, rendering the adapter not only unusable but destructive. All USB Type-A cables are suitable for our computers, so we are sure that the Satechi Type-A to Type-C adapter is seriously defective.

Poor quality but it works

Outer case keeps falling off, detached after a week of use. It still works and the price was reasonable, but handling an uncovered USB port is very cumbersome and makes the item difficult to use.

Made from cheap plastic

This is a very light weight fork with a plastic body. I will update this review when I know how long it will last. Gave 3 stars because it works to charge my MacBook and iPad from a backup battery that doesn't have a USB-C port.

Perfect for a car that doesn't have a USB-C drive

Perfect if your car is a few years older and has USB but your phone charger uses USB-C. Doesn't charge quickly, but still adjusts so you can charge it and it doesn't die on you.

Good to broken

I've been using this converter with an old iPhone USB adapter for two months. I hardly touch it - I just stick it in the wall. It was working fine until today when I tried to separate it it broke in two. After reading other negative reviews I realized that the product is really cheap and I will just pay more and buy a genuine Apple converter in the future.
