Is the door stuck? Get more bites and fix it in 30 seconds

My curtain doors were poorly installed by a 1970's builder - the door gap on the hinge side still needed 2x adjustments which reduced rough opening. Unfortunately the doors dragged from the open side of the door. One of those screws in the hinge made it to the rough 2x4 and bridged the gap between the door frame and the rough frame. Now the doors open and close without friction. Perfect, quick fix.

Works great - Wood Screws

I've recently installed some new interior doors and like to put a screw or two in the hinges, especially on doors that get a lot of use. perfectly and match perfectly with other screws in curtain doors (with satin nickel hinges). Could you find them cheaper elsewhere? Maybe, but my first attempt to find them ended up with one color crossed out and I didn't feel like driving across town looking for the right ones. However, anything even remotely close wasn't all that far in price. One caveat…

It was very difficult for me to find something suitable locally, so I'm very glad I stumbled upon it. As a single single woman I wanted to add some security to my home and replace the flimsy 1-1.5 inch screws, these bad boys are absolutely doing their job securing the door to the structure of the house (not just the door frame) . I replaced all…
