We always have great success with Saucony and our children. My son had these shoes for two months and the velcro that keeps the shoes closed came loose and now the shoes won't stay on. The shoes fit but can no longer be worn, I hope the price is not an indication of a reduction in quality.

This is the second pair of shoes I have bought for my 8 year old son who is very picky about his shoes. They're waterproof, keeping his feet dry so he doesn't get athlete's foot, and they're very durable. The best tennis shoes I've found so far.

Bought this for our son for our hike/hike. It is very sweet and very well filled, but runs a bit small. It's not uncomfortable for him, but it makes it a little harder to put on. Maybe next time I'll buy a wide one.

So far very happy with these shoes. They fit as expected for my 8 year old son who wears a size 1 and says they are very comfortable. He walks in it and climbs trees almost every day and I haven't noticed any noticeable wear in the last three months. Definitely recommend!

The shoes are beautiful and seem durable. My son has only worn them a handful of times, each time briefly. They seem a bit small compared to other shoes so I bought half a size larger than I planned and they fit well.

They are of poor quality. The Velcro came off completely in less than 3 months. My 8 year old wore them every day because they are so comfortable but I have bought him other brands in the past anyway and they lasted the rest of the school year.

great shoes! My 5 year old loves them. He was disappointed that they didn't glow, but I explained to him that these were like adult shoes, he loved them. These are excellent quality shoes.

Very cute shoes but too narrow for my 3 year old. The length was good but it was narrow in the middle and he said the upper seemed to be putting too much pressure on his foot. Suitable for narrow feet.

This is the second pair of Saucony shoes that I have bought for my son and now I can say with certainty that they are very narrow. I figured it might just be the first pair (which I had to swap out for a wide one) but they're pretty tight at a half size up. The length is great and they are very strong and well made. Since these are such good shoes and I don't want to return them, I warmed them up with a hair dryer and hand stretched them nicely for my son to wear.

My son was very happy with these shoes because we left him the choice. However, when we first tried putting the shoes on, the top of the heel folded into the left boot. We picked it up again, but the heel area was lumpy and uncomfortable. Thinking everything would work out, I allowed my son to wear them to school. wide not wide at all! Unfortunately I had to go back as the shoes were too narrow even in wide and it was very difficult to get my son's feet. And as soon as we managed to put them on (which he couldn't do himself), he said that they "pinched" his feet. He doesn't have very wide feet - half of his shoes are normal. Both parts of the sole (the part of the sole that rolls over the toe making it a running shoe) separated from the upper on day one. I chose to stick them on rather than deal with returns as I bought them on sale and my boy needed spring sneakers and trainers. A day of hardening strong glue is better than a week or more of sending it back and forth. Otherwise the shoes would be great. They are easy to slip on and off but are neat and forgiving.
