I bought the size 8.5 that I used to buy. I was a bit cramped the first time I tried it on, I thought I'd get used to it. Everything went well for the 5-mile run, the shoe works great. BUT the next morning two of my little fingers were red and sore. Then I realized the shoes are small for me and the hard layer in the front made my poor fingers aggravated. The Triumph 19 is different from my Saucony Rider 13 and Saucony Ride ISO. I immediately noticed that the sole has become much thicker. I stand about half an inch taller in these shoes. I was concerned about how the extra cushioning would affect foot handling, but once on the course it only took a few minutes to get used to the extra cushioning and had no effect on my pass time.
