Easy to turn on and off, perfect for running

My husband bought these after wearing out the old version. He likes the quick release mechanism. He did fix the laces on the sides of his previous pair of shoes a couple of times, but that was toward the end of her life. Great shoes, wear out quickly.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Modern

Great concept but not so great construction

I was keen to use the BOA lacing system, use it as a running shoe. Unfortunately, there was almost no arch support and no noticeable shock absorption. After I ran the 1.5 mile my legs hurt and about halfway through my leg muscles cramped.

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Durable

My favorite kicks! Great shoes! Very comfortable and looks great!

Just bought a second pair. It is October 6th and I bought my first denomination on March 21st. I'm 1.80 tall and weigh 220 kilos. I run and walk a lot, it's not easy for me to walk in shoes. Everything is holding up very well, only the bottom is frayed with a very thin profile and even in the bottom fabric under the profile that seemed to be peeling off in some small places.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

The lacing mechanism made me quit

I was concerned about the lacing mechanism. If you use something often enough, it wears out over time and I can see it becoming a problem. I liked the way he tightened the boot to make it snug but just didn't want to risk it breaking and beyond repair - or there is a way but it will take forever. For the money I would have liked an old fashioned cord or velcro closure.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Ok for the most part, but...

Feels like a glove, great grip, light weight

Wow, love these. You don't really have to use a boa around the house if you prefer the feel of a slipper. The hole is made of neoprene. When you're ready to rock, click and spin the wheel. You can get a very tight fit if you like. The soles are great because they don't have a hard edge. If you tend to twist your ankles, this can help. I wouldn't recommend them for hiking as there probably isn't enough padding. But for day hikes, running, or sim driving, they're awesome.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

Unique, comfortable, true to size, grippy sole

I bought them just for the looks. I once had a fancy pair of Oakley slip-on casual shoes and they reminded me of them. They are very light and very comfortable. One caveat, they don't breathe well and are quite hot. For this reason I would not recommend them for the hottest days or climates. I would like the locking system (which works well) to have a smaller profile. The sole is flexible and does not need to be broken in. Overall I like them and will be getting another pair in a different…

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Expensive

The best shoes! wear shoes

no tongue. No laces. Infinitely adjustable fit. You can wear them barefoot, with thin socks or thick socks. These are the best shoes I've ever owned, the answer to all my complaints about every other shoe (hell, every shoe) I've had over the years. Designers reinvented the sneaker concept! Except for the laces, my biggest criticism of the sneaker. Wandering tongue... gone too! However, the fit is perfect. Plus, I can wear them standing up! You don't have to bend down! how awesome is that I have

Pros
  • a practical part
Cons
  • so far so good
