I bought this for my Siamese cat and wow it really brings out blue eyes, I didn't expect that at all! I also really like the security feature and haven't had any issues with it, it's solid and yet if it's delayed I know it will work. If there is one complaint at all it is that the bell isn't loud enough for me, it loves to run at our feet almost constantly knocking us over and this bell takes a lot of cat movement to hear and it's a muffled bell, more bass. I ordered this collar to replace my cat's old worn collar and received it about two weeks ago. It looks good, fits well and is easily adjusted to my cat's size. When I put it on my cat I noticed how easily the collar clasp opened and I thought that might be an issue. My cats live exclusively at home and collars serve only two purposes: 1) A bell lets me know where they are , and 2) wear rabies tags and name tags. I bought three Savvy Tabby collars with shiny paws in blue, purple and green. As far as I can tell it's not nylon - it feels like leather.
