There are too few pages here to understand the cover; The binding is thicker than all pages combined. But what's worse, the binding feels very fragile. When you "open" a book for the first time, you will find that the first thing you do is crush the binding. This step looks like loading the first linked page. Imagine what happens when you get to the second page?

Cardboard binding that is nice but the binding isn't fantastic. I think it will hold up pretty well, especially for the amazing price. The paper is thick and holds well with markers [although I hold the paper behind the page I'm working on to make sure it doesn't show through]. I used ink and some watercolor, and as long as I don't use too much water, paper can do the same! It was very hard to find albums with blank covers and few pages, I'm glad I found them.
