Bold and Beautiful Underglaze

This underglaze is perfect for Arts and Crafts enthusiasts looking to add a dark and bold touch to their ceramic creations. My analysis of this product showed that it provides a deep and rich black color that stays true after firing. The application is smooth and easy to work with, making it effortless to achieve intricate patterns and designs. The only downside is that it can smudge easily before firing, so take care when handling your piece. Overall, an excellent product for anyone looking to

Pros
  • Produces a deep, rich black color when fired
Cons
  • Some users have reported that the underglaze tends to crack or chip easily

bad coloring

I used jet black. He wasn't black at all! It was medium grey. I expected the final clear glaze to be pitch black, but it ended up mottled gray. I gave two stars because the consistency was good and it spread well. The color really disappointed me.

Pros
  • ceramic and ceramic
Cons
  • not sure

Excellent underglaze. Not just for students! I love it!

I know it's supposed to be underglaze paper for school but I prefer more expensive brands. I've found that some other brands don't handle glazes well, leaving a matte or satin finish rather than the glossy finish I applied. (This only happened with black.) When you use the Sax brand, it turns out great every time! I absolutely recommend it. It is a low temperature product but fires flawlessly up to cone 6 without burning out or blunting. This is a great money saver with great results.

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
