not bad for the price and the curved screen feels nice

The Emu could do better and when used with a laptop the laptop's brightness settings don't dim the monitor's brightness but it's decent, you get what you pay for and that's a good thing.

The stand is not screwed into the monitor!

The monitor does a great job at a low price, mine is $139.99. My biggest gripe is the monitor stand and how the screws aren't aligned, the lack of a stand sucks but I got over it.

Color issues may occur depending on your situation.

The monitor looks great, is easy to assemble and is a fantastic price. Of course, such an award can have consequences, and that was the case for me. I hooked this thing up to my laptop via HDMI and turned it on and the display looked awful. Colors, especially black and white, were washed out, and for someone like me who's a bit picky about visual quality, that was driving me crazy. I've done a little research and I can surmise the following: The monitor isn't sending the correct information…

GREAT MONITOR FOR THE PRICE

I bought this monitor for my home office to add a second monitor to my Mac and watch TV at the same time. The facility was impeccable. I bought an easy to assemble monitor mount. I bought a VGA to HDMI adapter and connected my laptop to the VGA port and the ROKU Stick to the HDMI port. It's easy to switch between the two ports with the rear control buttons and the picture looks amazing! The speakers are of poor quality, but I plan to improve something. So far this monitor has exceeded all my…

Which LEDs? looks great to me

I've read reviews complaining about glowing LEDs. I was a little nervous, but I took it anyway. Happy with my purchase, no problems with the LEDs I see everywhere. Curve is great for gaming, hard to explain if you've never used it, try it and you'll see. Colors seem a little muted compared to my other screen, but I'll play around with the settings and see what I can do. Great budget monitor.

Rolled the dice, got snake eyes.

Like most modern electronic devices, you take risks and hope for the best. I wasn't lucky this time. The backlight is very translucent, with two glowing LEDs in the lower left corner. There appear to be scratches on the back of the screen that look like large hairs. Quality control failed on this device. The frame feels flimsy and cheap. Assembly is easy, but do not use the small screwdriver provided, it is not long enough and too small to get a good torque. You can tilt the screen forward or…

Great video quality, not so good sound

This is a great monitor for the price. The sound quality is not very good when connected to the monitor, not so good when connected to the monitor.

Not as bright as other gaming screens.

Good screen for the money. It's just that the colors aren't as vivid as on other screens. But it does the job. I use it for games and work. I like it, the curve really helps. You may have to play with the brightness and other settings to make it match the game you're playing :/ which is killing me. But other things, like photos and other videos come out fine, just games, yes.

Scepter needs to step up their quality control game

Received a replacement for the first one today and decided to wait for it to arrive for inspection. The first monitor arrived and after about an hour I started seeing white flashes on the screen followed by crackling from the built in speakers using the display connector. I thought I might have a problem with my computer's display port, so I switched to VGA. The same problem. At this point the monitor was reset so I decided to order a new one. The new monitor has been up and running for 6 or 7…

Color balance disabled

So the size of this monitor is pretty darn big lol. I would suggest getting 2 27" for your gaming rig and if you mainly want an office monitor then by all means get a 32" sound. doesn't get that loud at all, so to be honest if you want a monitor with good built in speakers then this isn't the one for you. The display is AMAZING like wow. The only problem is that the color balance can never give perfect white and shows beige but never white so that's the only thing that bothers me about this…

Great monitor!: my rating

I bought this monitor to enhance my home office setup and I have to say it did not disappoint. I'm very happy with the large 27 inch screen and at this price point it's a steal. It's perfect for my work as it allows me to have multiple panels open at the same time, increasing my productivity. I was a little skeptical about the curved screen at first, but it doesn't seem to have any noticeable distortions. Color settings seem reasonable enough, although since I'm not a gamer I can't comment on…

Great product but the kit contained about 6 dead pixels.

Good product. I like the price, size, brightness and refresh rate. With over 2 million pixels, it's no wonder there were a few dead pixels. I got this about 4 months ago and the pixels haven't come apart and I haven't had any more issues. Dead pixels didn't bother any game. The only problem is that they hurt the eyes. Good overall, but lost a star for dead pixels and a star for a 5ms response time.
