Schlage F40FLA716 Flair Privacy Bronze Review

At first I thought I could save a few bucks with Kwikset, but after testing it at Home Depot I realized I'd rather pay for Schlage. They are excellent and add so much to the aesthetic of my doors. Then turn the handle and you will feel the power that is so important. The tiny roughness of aged bronze is barely noticeable, but so good! All bedroom/bathroom doors have been replaced with these.

A few years ago we replaced all door handles with Schlage Antique Flair Bronze handles. We have a fairly large house with many interior and exterior doors. We are very happy with the levers. They are very easy to install, continue to work great and the finish holds up well on all levers. For a small apartment renovation, we quickly ordered a suitable lever. I'm happy to report that the quality is still excellent, just like the ones we've installed before.

Works great with previous Schlage installations. Simple and effective. My only complaint is that the hardware isn't natural metal but is covered in some sort of plastic material. Looks solid but the edges of the upholstery show this coating where it's slightly raised on most of the 25 or so knobs I installed. Not a top product. The screws on the inside handle are also visible. Other products mount and then use a cover plate to cover the mounting screws. Another reason it's not the highest…
