Schlage J170STR619 Stratus Decorative Inactive Review

I needed two dummy pens to complete my project and my big local store didn't have them. Ordered these from Revain hoping they were the real Schlage deal. To my delight they were just that. I am very satisfied with this product

The handle is very light and cannot be detached from the base. A bit tricky to install as the screwdriver needs to be at an angle (the handle blocks direct access to the screws). It would be nice if the screws were hidden.

Slight scratches, be careful. It is also highly recommended to use a flat 90 degree screwdriver. The screws are quite long so I had to install the handle screws horizontally on one side of the door and the screws vertically on the other side.

$6 including shipping and 2 mounting screws from a household name like Schlage, how can you lose? The instructions are simple but clear and include a drilling template so you don't even have to measure yourself. If I needed more dead doorknobs I would definitely buy more of these durable items. Damned.

Looks very nice. Ease of installation. Note that there is only one handle for one side of the door. I think it should have been obvious as the inactive handle doesn't go through the door, but I ordered half the amount I needed. However, this is still a great price for a great product and I will be ordering again to complete my set.
