I bought these as an upgrade to my tritan martini glasses and can safely say the coupe cocktail glass is absolutely better for serving cocktails face to face. Let's face it, the martini glass is an impractical retro style that has taken hold for no good reason. These glasses are stylish and practical, striking but not eclectic. These are great glasses but we found them to break easily and for no apparent reason. The company says they're strong, but the truth is that if the glass is that thin, no matter how you try to reinforce it, it's going to break. We have European Asko dishwashers, and even with quality Asko washing, they sometimes break after washing. They should be placed freely and without pressure on the teeth.
