A part of the mind. for tire repair tools

Gives me a nice reassurance knowing that the folks who made the real valve made a tool that tells me exactly how tight to tighten. I use it on every car I touch.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • unreliable

It's not a torque limiter.

Definitely not a torque limiter. It's just a shredder valve with a screwdriver handle. It does exactly what it's designed to do, but it's made in China and doesn't cost $20.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Great reliable tool

These are great little tools for those who need to frequently install valve cores. Torque adjustment ensures you never over-tighten or over-torque the yokes. I've had many cars where a tire has leaked due to the valve core not being tightened enough, a real problem that has an easy fix: this tool

Pros
  • One year trial period

Broke on second use. Made in China, not in Germany.

It broke on the second valve, pulled itself up and now only rotates slightly. Does not loosen, tighten or click. The packaging says "Made in China", not Germany. I have an old one that has been used on hundreds of valves and still works great. I needed a replacement part but they don't seem to be up to the same quality standards as they used to be.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

A great tool for checking the seat and tightness of Schrader valves.

Great tool. Easy to use, especially with torque function. I had a leaking schrader valve after changing all my tires at the shop. I thought the valve was defective and wanted to replace it with a new one. It was found that the valve was never fully installed and was loose. Used a tool to mount and tighten the valve. From now on, after a tire change, I not only check the tire pressure and nut torque, I now use this tool to make sure the Schrader valves are installed and properly torqued. Please…
