🚗 Schrader TPMS Retrofit Kit for Cars and Trucks Review

Love it. Works very well. Sunlight keeps the monitor fully charged if I leave it in the sun at work, and it's fine to park in a dark garage for a day or two. It comes with an anti-slip pad so you can put it on your dashboard and it won't move without glue. It also has a backlight that turns on when it feels like it's getting dark. Unfortunately, there are no backlight brightness settings or a toggle switch.

I ordered sensors that were professionally installed by Discount Tires and although they are all wired to the hub (showing real time PSI readings) the display shows a constant warning of each axis that indicates a problem. The troubleshooting documentation does not mention what this error means. I've tried contacting Schrader but customer service only sends me a voicemail and then I don't get a call back. Sensors work great and the display gets enough solar charge; Aftersales service is bad, no answer to the written attempts by the Schrader office in both the US and Germany: Spending three times as much money on a branded product without aftersales raises the question of why not choose an unbranded alternative. I was looking to buy replacement sensors although the sensors have changed the item and was just looking for confirmation that the sync with the main display unit was still working.

Just bought. I have high hopes for it and will update this review when I hear about it. This is the American version! Last year it was only available in Europe. I couldn't find a guide anywhere on the internet, so here it is. Let me know if this is too hard to read! The lithium battery pack is solar or USB charged and is not intended to be replaced (no easily removable battery cover), although I have not yet attempted to open the case to see if it is user replaceable if needed. As I'm doing a TPMS certification training I was intrigued by this product. Schrader supplies many products to the original equipment market and believes this will be a good product. I'd say the gauges are rock solid and indeed the same as many GM vehicles. A little tinkering with the sensors brought this to light and I decided to stop by a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado to test and check the sensors and it's NOT necessary, just out of curiosity.
