Description of SCHWALBE 1847 Bicycle Tire Levers

The special shape of the lever reduces the danger of the tube being pinched during installation. When removing a tire, the lever can be snapped onto the spoke leaving hands free for the second lever. The high-quality plastic is virtually unbreakable. Levers can be clipped together for easy storage. It comes in a pack of 3.

The Best Tire Levers I've Ever Used

These are the best tire levers I've ever used. I can see where they might break if you've actually tried a particularly difficult tire, but you're trying too hard when they break. The position of the bead needs to be adjusted. Less effort and more fiddling with the tire. Work smart, not force. The lug design of these tire levers seems to be optimal. The tips are thin and perfectly shaped to go where they need to go and do what they need to do and they won't poke out the hose. Very ergonomic…

Schwalbe Quality Tire Levers

You could say I'm a Schwalbe fan. I have ridden Schwalbe tires for many years and have clocked many thousands of marathon miles (I ride about 8000 miles on one set). And I don't get many flat tires. quality material. These tire levers are in the same class as their tires. Strong without being bulky. In fact, they maybe a little heavier than others, but others break, so what's the point? These levers are bolted on so I don't have to rummage through my tool bag to find them - if I can find one…

Fits where other tire levers don't

PRO-* (Important)- I've tried other tire levers (a bunch with great reviews) and these have become the ones I use. I can get them between the tire and rim when NONE of my levers can. (These include Park Tools, Pedros, Crank Brothers and a few others). • Like most, they have a notch that snaps into place when the tire is removed. Less commonly, they also have a mechanism for locking and sliding when mounting a tire (of the other levers I own, only my much larger Crank brothers' lever has one). •

Continental Killer

Holy Beauty Batman! These levers are absolute lifesavers. So I spent about a week and bought about 3-4 different levers to help me put the world's narrowest tire on the world's narrowest wheelset. Suffice to say I felt a little empty after these failed attempts. But there is hope for those trying to fit the Continental 5000 TL onto a tight wheelset. These are your levers! Some reviewers remarked that they act like a third hand. It's incredibly accurate. When I got these puppies I played around…
