Great city tire.

I converted a 93 foot Scott Peak mountain bike into a commuter bike with a drop bar for commuting and put big apples on it. They're great, they roll faster than I expected.

Pros
  • This is amazing

Excellent ride, fits tires

These tires are great for commuting on my Raleigh mountain bike. The roads are pretty awful so road biking is out of the question. Luckily, these tires can withstand 70psi and provide a smooth ride.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Nothing

Fast, grippy and 4 out of 5 stars when wet.

These tires kill the specialized halo. Don't think they will be slow because of the 2 inch width. These tires are great and handle the wet well. Watch out for railroad tracks or road signs. Excellent puncture resistance for a lightweight tire.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Works great on my e-bike

So far so good. Seems solid, drives well and has good road holding. The reflective sidewall is VERY visible in the light. overall than the same-size Bontrager H2 it replaced. Also, it's COMPLETELY not that smooth ride. A trade I'm keen to make as this bike just took on commuting duties and I hate apartments! If I order another one, I'll get one bigger than I want. They seem to "walk a little"

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Some flaws

MTB commuter good for cycling

I ordered from SoCal and the east coast seller took forever to get here (no big deal). My order was for two 26x2.35 tires but received 26x2.0. Now I would send them back but didn't want to wait for delivery so I opted for thinner ones. I love all these tires. The reflective side walls are great. So quiet on the sidewalk and sidewalk. In addition, they perform quite well on light gravel and dirt roads. Buyer! Before shipping, contact the seller to make sure they send you the correct size.

Pros
  • Excellent overall specs
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Amazing ride on these balloon tires

These "balloon" tires are very good and match what was already on the bike. The seller who sold them had to order them specially for me, so it took a while. These are 26" x 2" tires that are becoming increasingly difficult to find. The ride on these tires is great on flat road surfaces. They are a bit rough on rougher surfaces, like the shoulder. These are definitely street tires. They are not designed for off-road use. The once nice feature of Schwalbe tires in this category was the reflective

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • I will add later

Impeccable mileage of over 560 miles!

UPDATE 2019 After 560 miles on an old cruiser I put them on a cheap Schwinn MTB. To be honest this is the PERFECT FL tire as we have mostly roads and moderately packed sand. Of course, they're not as fast as road bikes, probably more because of the gearing than anything else. But they're great off-road on sand and grass and they're great on the road, and I spend more time there. as off. Absolutely flawless! Driven 165km. I understand it's actually not that much. But the tires still look like…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

C&O Canal Specials Best in Sport

Did flat gravel roads (C&O Canal and False Cape State Park) last year with 32mm tires. Decided that something thicker would offer more bump absorption and float more in muddy areas. Didn't want cool spikes! I found this to be the perfect C&O Canal tire. Mostly on a rainy ride, the non-aggressive profile kicked road dirt mostly onto my Trek 820's big Velo Orange fenders, leaving little on my panniers and nothing on my handlebar bag. There was some dirt on the seat and chainstays that used to…

Pros
  • Handy
Cons
  • So far so good
