🚴 SCHWALBE Marathon Racer HS 429 Speedgrip Cross Hybrid Bike Tire with Wire Bead Review

I bought one as a spare. I currently have a couple of these on my Cannondale T2 touring bike. They each have 2,000 miles under their belt and look ready for at least another 2,000 miles. Strong and durable. Not a fast tire, but rolling resistance is ok. We have a lot of broken glass on the streets here and we never had an apartment because of the glass. Only one hole so far and it was a big brace in the sidewall that I reckon would kill any tire.

The Schwalbe Marathon Racer is the lightest and, according to Schwalbe, also the fastest of the many filigree versions of the Schwalbe Marathon bicycle tire series. These are fast tires and sticky enough for aggressive riding. The KOJAK tires that came with my Ghost Speedline 1 wore out after about 6 months and a tire change.
