In February I ordered tires for my big tire mountain bike. It was the best city upgrade I've ever done. I change the tires before driving on the motorway and use them for city traffic. This makes my MTB much more efficient. It looks more like a giant BMX bike. One of these tires survived a complete burst when my rim hit the curb with full force. I know that the lifespan will suffer because the bead is slightly bent and some metal fibers are visible. But so far it's holding up well.

The ideal large tire for a combination of asphalt and touring trails. With a pressure range of 20-45psi, they offer less rolling resistance than studded tires and offer a much smoother ride while still providing a smooth ride over bumps. This tire is supposedly an upgrade from my cheap stock Seyoun NJK 27.5 2.8 tire. I thought it was 2.8 wide as advertised, but no, it's not a real 2.8 when installed. I was so disappointed I sent it back but received a $16.25 restocking fee which is unfair to me. Excellent tire with low rolling resistance and good comfort. I've ridden them about 160 miles in the last few weeks, both on and off road, and they still look brand new, no signs of wear. Wear and tear also on an electric bike that usually tears tires faster. Keep in mind that this tire loses traction fairly easily on sand and gravel (even slightly above regular tarmac) and although I put about 20 miles of mountainous terrain on it, I drove very slowly, wary of any corners ahead. This is a great improvement over traditional studded tyres. If you mainly ride on road/bike surfaces you will really like them. They are noticeably faster, much quieter, very comfortable and pleasant to drive. I ride maybe 10-15 miles a day so I thought it was worth it.
