Schwalbe SV21 650B Inner Tubes - 27.5 x 1.5/2.4'' (40/62-584), Presta Valve (Pack of 2) Review

Tubes are fine, delivery is as described but not being able to track the package was embarrassing as you don't know when it will arrive and they estimate a 2 week window.

My first tube lasted 5 months and the stem broke. I replaced the pipe with another one I had and it had a valve stem failure that caused it to rot 2 miles from my house. Won't buy this again.

I know that punctures are to be expected, but both tubes broke within a week after installation and the second is beyond repair, although the diameter of the puncture is small. I've looked through two boxes of two different types of patches and the tiny whole won't connect.

There were very few options for a rim size 650B and a narrow 1.5 inch tire. Most tubes with this rim diameter are designed for 2" or larger balloon tires. This camera is great for the Schwalbe marathon. Others rate the quality of Schwalbe cameras as pretty good. Can't say yet - I just installed it. although there is no reason to doubt it.

These tubes are advertised as having an average weight of 145 grams but my two average 210 grams. There is no justification for such a large discrepancy in the specs. Also, I haven't seen a significant difference in the width of this hose, which is said to fit 1.5" tires, compared to the 1.9-2.1" nashbar hoses I have, which also weigh less. ) tires I used.
