I am not sure what to expect but this ended up feeling more like a mesh type material than something sturdy, I returned them because they didn't seem like they'd work good for the intended purpose. I was just trying to prevent cuts from my mandolin and the mesh type material would get caught easily in the blades.

It's not level 9 chain, but it should provide enough protection to prevent another major cut to my hand. Comfort is good and dexterity isn't diminished too much, but cleaning it is a bit of a process.

my first use of the glove in my opinion paid for them . i laid the glove on my counter top and took a knife and tried to cut them to no avail . I can grab a fish no slipping and I don't have to worry about getting gill cut's on my finger's or my knife cutting my hand's. money well spent and I would most definitely recommend this product to anyone cutting meat of filleting fish.

I received the package today I went to try it on and see there is a inter glove and a outer when I tried iton I couldn't use the inter glove but outer cut resistance glove fits but a little tight but i can deal with that i used to wear other filet gloves without any thing else under my other filet gloves

This product is awesome, I will use it for slicing meat and other foods on my electric food slicer just to guard my fingers as I slice. My food slicer for some unknown reason, was missing the hand guard and I can't seem to find one online for my model. Great product, it really protects your hands against cutting. This is the second time I buy these gloves. If you use them long periods of time some irritation may occur due to abrasion but in general they fit well and are very comfortable.

I used this glove for when I use my mandolin. So far I haven't spilled any of my blood. That's good enough for me. The fit is fine and is easily pliable, not as stiff as I had anticipated. As for cleaning this I find difficult as the glove must be completely dry to avoid rust.

I like the ease of movement in the gloves, but the fingers sometimes catch on the grater which has pulled out some threads. However they still work well to protect my hands.

Make sure you read; this doesn’t come as a pair; only one glove and an insert. I haven’t tried cleaning these, thus the reason for the one star.

Like the glove especially handling a slicer blade.My one drawback is the size of the hole to insert My size 11 hand. Seems all gloves use a size six scuff on ALL gloves. I'll like 'em better when I solve my hand circulation problem.

First off I thought they would be puncture proof from my kitten, unfortunately not the case even with the insert and they don't with stand snags as you can see in some spots.

I was hoping this size large would fit my husband. It fits me. It is not easy to get the polyester glove on under the glove. I don't know about the durability and thickness because I just received it in the mail. I am ordering an extra large for my husband and hoping it will fit him to be able to use the mandolin safely. I will keep the large size one for myself.

I returned these. I don’t think chain link gloves are for me. I could not imagine trying to use a knife while wearing them. I have no idea how easy they would have been to clean because I barely opened the package. I am just being very careful with knives these days.

I bought this to use with our Tupperware mandolin. The kids LOVE to use the mandolin for slicing their fruit & veggies. The thing that comes with the mandolin to hold items while slicing doesn’t hold things well at all. These gloves are terrific. The main problem is size. I ordered Large, but the glove I got is so small I can’t use the liner. Down rated comfort because of the small size an thickness because it isn’t as thick as a similar product I used at work.

This is woven cable, not chain mail. It won't stop a knife from poking you totally but it will stop serious injury. A must if you're shucking oysters. Cleans up easily enough.

These are better gloves than some for safety. I have bought others. I use the glove cutting cabbage when making kraut. I think the chain mail style is better when using knives. Certainly more money but how many places can you buy any kind of chain mail product cheap?

I wasn't sure how well executed these gloves would be, but they're really fine.They come with an inner liner glove, and then the outer metal glove. And a strap to secure the glove.The system works perfectly. In fact the gloves fit so well that I didn't even need the strap.I tested it with an X-Acto knife, carefully, and the gloves seem to do the job very well.In other words, perfect for the job.

I normally wear a men's large, so I ordered that. Couldn't get it on. Returned it for an XL. Could barely get that on. Returned that for their largest, XXL. Very snug fit. Can't comment on the longevity of the glove because I just got it. As to the quality, the glove feels sturdy. Tried it out In the kitchen, seems to do what it promises to do. No complaints there.
