Small but gets the job done!

For those who want to buy this because it's small enough to put in a backpack and take with you on a trip, DON'T WORRY! It's too heavy for that. But if you have limited memory and don't like dealing with a pump that drops every 3 seconds, this is great. Plus it's the coolest looking pump. Most importantly, IT DOES THE JOB LIKE ANY OTHER PUMP, but in style. Worth every penny.

Pros
  • Unique design features foldable steel legs for added pumping stability and durability.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Not bad, but far from great

I'm not a "bike pump specialist" - I just know that every once in a while I need to pump up a couple of bike tires and a couple of basketballs. I don't know if the cylinder is too short or if that's how foot pumps work, but it seems to take a lot longer to inflate a tire with this foot pump than my old $9 Walmart hand pump. It actually isn't any less hassle or easier to use a foot pump - while the pump will work, it's not worth the hassle or extra expense compared to a cheap hand pump. JMO.

Pros
  • Includes sports ball needle and inflation cone for added versatility.
Cons
  • Mostly ok, but...

This pump failed with Presta valves

Pump did not work at all with Presta valves. When turning the switch, the head pushed against the valve a bit, but the pumped air leaked everywhere and not into the pipe. I'm not sure if this design can work at all, it looks like a fancy non-functional feature meant to sell a product. Not sure why it's at 100psi, I couldn't even get my presta tubes to 20psi. The only thing I could do with this pump was pump air into a couple of cue balls, which was easy to do with the included needle. It's a…

Works well with Presta valves (even some not-so-great ones)

I got this because my 10 year old Serfa pump (I think) refused to compress cheap Presta valves on the hose I saved. This one grabbed the valve and pumped air like a champ! I will say that foot pumping took a little longer than the hand pump, but. Come on. we don't fill trailer tires with this thing. It can fill up a bike tire fast enough that it shouldn't be a problem. Build quality appears to be good with an impressive amount of metal, although the gauge looks and feels cheap. The dial is ok…
