Very disappointing plastic tab on the back of the bird that keeps the little handle from twisting back after you've pulled it open, it broke. We only wound it twice and less than recommended when it broke. Looks like old and brittle plastic. Worse, my granddaughter cried.

Both rubber bands broke after 5 minutes. What a disappointment. I had one as a kid in the 80's and it seemed like those fragile rubber bands have been around ever since. I tried it for my daughter and we got 1 cast with the first elastic and 3 casts with the spare set. Why bad quality for $14.99?

I am planning to use this bird in a musical rendition of the Irish drinking song Heigh, Ho, The Rattlin Bog, The BOg down in the Valley O! a bird in an egg in a nest on a branch of a tree in Ratlin Swamp down in the O Valley.
