Not just for nose hair!

I have ordered that they be kept in my knit and crochet bag which I take to the dog park and doctor's offices. I wanted the ends to be blunt so they wouldn't stick out of the bag and sting me when I reach for it. They are nice and sharp with good weight. I also keep a few on hand for when I need to trim my dog's fast-growing facial hair between grooming appointments. Again, blunt ends are good because they're safe when cutting near a moving animal.

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Very good scissors, suitable for cuticle tools

Very impressed with the quality of these scissors. Very sharp and cuts well. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I'm also very happy with the color. I also like the rounded tip because it's safer than sharp-tipped scissors. I was glad they came in a 3 pack so I can keep a pair in every bathroom.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Big Little Safety Scissors

I bought these to trim nose and ear hair so I could do it without hurting myself. Also great for travel and as it was a multi pack I can just keep a few in my bathroom holdall.

  • Hands Free

Large sanitary scissors

They do what they have to do. The blunt ends are rounded enough not to sting you but small enough to be used comfortably in the nostrils and ears. The finger holes are good for adult fingers (the thumb is about the size of a glove by comparison). The black finish is nice because the chrome ones are starting to look a bit rough.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • There are problems

Better for areas other than nose trimming

They are more than optimal for nose trimming. The main problem for me is that when brushing the nose hair, it pulls near the tip at the end of the stroke. You must remember to cut and open again before pulling or moving them back for another cut as they will not cleanly cut the hair at the very end of the scissors, near the rounded tip. I like them more for a little grooming near the ears and browbones. However, I bought them to cut my nose. Hence the low ratings.

  • Free for educational purposes

Terrible and boring good for cuticle tools

I bought these with high expectations and I liked that they had blunt ends. When I tried them, the blades of the scissors closed every time I tried to cut my nose hair, and when I tried to just pull them out of my nose, the hair didn't actually cut off. This pulls out the hair at the root. I've tried trimming my hair doing a few reps but the blades are too dull and difficult to close and open without risking pulling them out and hitting the inside of the nose. Let's come back to finding the…

Please be careful before trying!

Please be careful. Some scissors had unsmoothed/very sharp parts on the handle that cut my finger. I won't post a photo of my finger as there was a lot of blood in it and nobody tries to see blood in the Revain review section. In any case, the scissors aren't the best - they seem a little big to me (maybe this is normal for others), and sometimes they don't cut very well. It's relatively difficult to close (compared to other good ones I've used) so I get a good mix of dread and thrills every…

2 out of 3 pairs are too stiff for safe use

Size is good (although the sales picture gives the false impression that one of them is larger than the others 2.) The curve at the tip is what I wanted. However, the 2 pairs are so difficult to manage (even after working with them a lot in the air to loosen them up) that I'm afraid to use them on my cat. If you have to make an effort to close the scissor blades, you will eventually lose control/may make mistakes at this point. The bad news! I like cutting the thread as you sew.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
