Faulty Automotive Belt Tensioner - Avoid!

This pulley is no good! I purchased it for my automotive needs and had nothing but issues. The materials used were low grade and the tensioner bearing was not functioning properly. The only good thing about this product was that it was replaceable. Unfortunately, that was also a con because i had to replace it far too soon. Save your time and money and avoid this faulty product..

Kind of a misplacement.

This product is designed to fit my 2001 Honda Odyssey with 3.5L V6 engine. It was packed in a blue and white box with many inscriptions in German and the brand "ECCPP". This is a much cheaper kit than other brands so I decided to give it a try to save some money. The water pump is a good replacement part. The pulleys fit well. The toothed belt was the wrong width and was therefore completely unusable (see Fig. 1). A hydraulic auto-tensioner seemed like the right part, but a slight OEM design…
