I read somewhere that this will work with a boosted 2008 Dodge Durango. It is not. Unfortunately because it's a lot cheaper than others out there. However, note that this will not work on a 2008 Dodge Durango and possibly older and lower years.

Firstly I didn't buy it here, I bought it from Walmart but it's the same product, it was very easy to install. and it works like a charm, no need to hook up to other 12v wires, it's a bit pricey, but taking it to a shop and letting them do it is better than paying a lot more is simply plug and play

Used it to hook up a dual DVD/CD player to my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee and had no problems. All cables are color coded (and match the colors of the dual CD player) and are marked not only with a label but also directly on the cable. Very beautiful. Everything fit and worked almost perfectly. So far there are no problems.

This unit worked great with factory wiring. It was plug and play apart from the soldering and shrinking. I kept checking out the other options offered on the Crutchfield website but decided to give this one a try as it was the cheapest option available that supposedly worked and I've had good luck with Scosche products. Never had a problem installing a car stereo until I decided to install a new one on my Jeep. After some swearing and some Googling, I found that I had to connect to my car's computer to get the stereo to work. Bought, connected, works almost perfectly! It already has a wiring harness that can be installed from the side of the car, so just plug the wires into the stereo wiring harness, plug it in and you're good to go.
