Only one end fits in car AV installations

The small end had to be mangled to fit my 1995 Ford Explorer Sport. I have no idea which port they thought this should be plugged into.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Available in white only

Didn't fit! on auto AV installation

Not close at all. I needed a premium sounding bypass amp for my 1996 Bronco. The plug (wide) fits properly, but the narrower side doesn't fit properly and the pins don't line up. I tried altering it in several different configurations with a Dremel tool but found that the pins were the wrong inside diameter. It was a waste of my time and money. I'll do what everyone else won't do for this one. It's difficult to pull all the new cables to each speaker individually. I think it's a good winter…

Pros
  • Multiple competitors
Cons
  • Updates available

One end fits automotive electronics accessories only

This cable is used to bypass the stock amplifier (located behind the passenger side rear fender, accessible after removing the inner panel) on my 1998 Ford Explorer Sport. The long, flat end of the cable fits perfectly into the head unit wiring harness. The square connector for the speaker output does not match my stock connector, the pin sockets on the stock speaker harness are too small for the square pin connectors on the FD15B. I had to cut the square connectors from the FD15B and the stock

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Modern

Only one end works

Small end had to be trimmed to fit my 1995 Ford Explorer Sport. I have no idea which port they thought this should be plugged into.

Pros
  • Connects secondary stereo to factory gain bypass
Cons
  • Not sure
