🔌 Scosche FDK11B: Perfect Wire Harness for Select 2003-08 Ford Premium Sound & Audiophile Systems Review

I was able to easily hook up a stereo to my 2008 Mustang by replacing the main Shaker 500 unit. The plugins worked great with the factory plugin. The only addition would be to drop the booster voltage from 12v to 5v if you have Ford's premium boost system. It was nice to be able to plug this in conveniently before ripping apart my dash, half the job was done by the time I got to that point.

I remember Uber used to be expensive from RadioShack so never tried it. Well, hell, I didn't know what I was missing. Being able to sit inside at your desk and splice each wire instead of having to do it with your hand buried in the dash is amazing! Once everything is hooked up, go to the car, connect the antenna and snap this guy in place and you're done!

Be sure to pull out the radio and check which connector you have on the back of the radio. The Revain manual said it would fit a 2007 Sport Trac but after removing the radio it shows it doesn't have the correct connection, see picture. Check what you have before you buy this item. I gave 3 stars because I'm sure it works, the shipping was fast and correct, but at the end it was wrongly mentioned to install correctly.

This doesn't work for Ford Escape 07 I had to order one in Autozone after purchase, power, ground and turn on. but no speakers, and for those who say there is no red curve, they don't know what they're talking about. I install radios and systems every day and yes escaping with an audiophile system has one model that has the bare minimum to use a red accessory but most have an audiophile system.

Installed on my 2006 F150 and it worked great! The wires matched exactly. I'm glad I noticed that this item includes a factory subwoofer jack like I needed. I've always been a fan of this brand and given the choice I don't bother with cheaper brands. This is the first time I've had to spend time looking up information on the web because it wasn't a one-to-one pinout. I ended up with wire colors on the harness that weren't marked at all. Main Wire Assembly works well and deserves a five star rating. But on a 2004 Ford Expedition with CD changer and subwoofer, the subwoofer cable is not properly connected. I bought this for my 2004 Ford Escape with Mach stereo to use with a Pioneer DEH-150MP replacement stereo. Everything fits great, although using wire butt connectors without the right crimping tool is a headache. This is clearly not a reflection of this product. I only have one complaint.
