Very Simple 1984 Fiero Radio Upgrade Adapter

I liked a few things about this adapter. 1) The plastic end of the wire harness properly matched the three separate parts of the stock radio and was even grooved so you couldn't mess it up. 2) The color coding of the cables was identical to the color coding of the new Pioneer radio. Some of the wires (electricity) were previously stripped. The rest of the wires required a stripping tool before connecting.

Pros
  • Car Electronics Accessory
Cons
  • No Instructions

Excellent strap. Worth every penny

The wiring harness on my 1987 Buick Regal was cut and hooked up to an old aftermarket radio. I found the radio connection diagram in google and welded it to this wiring harness. It's like factory and works great.

Pros
  • Connects aftermarket stereo to factory radio wiring harnesses
Cons
  • Mostly fine, but...

Fits my base 1991 S10

Works great. The lines are precut which is nice. My truck didn't have a yellow wire and I connected the yellow wire to the power supply. It still turns off with the truck key, but doesn't remember any functions. Not sure if this is a wiring harness or radio (or wiring) fault.

Pros
  • Not compatible with factory amp systems
Cons
  • Quality

Great price and works great.

Mounted on a 1988 Pontiac Fiero They normally only ran through GM's 1987, but since that was the last year the Fiero was produced, GM used an older style of wiring. Review your app before purchasing. Otherwise they work great. Never cut the factory wiring. Even yours has been clipped before, I would recommend buying a factory spare end AND using it to get it right.

Pros
  • Made from factory quality wires and connectors
Cons
  • Lightly dented

Very simple adapter to upgrade a 1984 Fiero radio

A few things I liked about this adapter. 1) The plastic end of the wire harness fit snugly into three separate pieces of the factory radio and was even cut so you couldn't mess it up. 2) The color coding of the cables was identical to the color coding of the new Pioneer radio. Some of the wires (electricity) were previously stripped. The rest of the wires required a stripping tool before connecting.

Pros
  • Connects directly to the factory wiring harness without cutting any wires
Cons
  • I won't say anything
