Pretty flimsy dashboard kit. Although I worked as a car audio installer I should have known better than buying a Scosche kit for my 07 Yukon rather than a Metra kit. This scosche kit is very flimsy and will take a few tries to get your DDIN device flush where you want it.

This is a great design but the two mounting holes are too wide for the supplied screws to hook into. I was able to add some flimsy plastic to the holes to make it work but a little quality control would have made it a 5 star product.

I don't know if this is an earlier return, but the screws wouldn't cut into the holes on mine. This item was so cheap I just threw it away and bought another at my local stereo store that worked great. It looked new, but either the threads in the special holes were torn off, or it wasn't worth buying at all.

The plastic of the kit goes very well with the texture and color of the factory. The facilities could definitely be better, but I've seen worse. My main criticism is that the screws that came with it were too small. I had to go to Lowes to get the right size. The included screws are number 8 and don't bite at all. No. 10 fits perfectly and tightly.

DON'T LET THIS FUCK YOU, THEY DON'T TELL THEM IT'S NOT THE REAL 7" (10mm) (10mm) FITS 4" INCH (100mm) DOUBLE DIN STEREO. The inside dimension of the trim hole is only about 6.5 inches by 4 inches. Buy either the metra or the scosche GM1598B version. Don't be like me, trust the amazons with your device.
