📻 Scosche GM2500B Double DIN & DIN+Pocket Dash Kit Black - Compatible with Select 2005-Up GM ISO Vehicles Review

I was a fan of all the adapters that came with this kit which makes it suitable for many different scenarios. However, the instructions were a bit difficult and vague to follow.

One of the side panels that mount to the side of the aftermarket head unit was missing from my kit. This is absolutely necessary. I had to make a side mount because it was impossible to wait 10 days with a broken dashboard. The plastic bag packaging was intact and sealed from the factory.

If I could, I would give negative stars. I disassemble it neatly, route and connect all the cables. Proceed to assemble the kit so that it fits and some parts are missing e.g. B. important. The two side panels that the brace attaches to and actually hold the damn stereo in place are not included.

Well I don't quite understand why people are complaining about this product. Yes, it's plastic, yes, it's a Chevy Fit. The set comes with instructions and is easy to assemble. Some designs were very ingenious and effective in my opinion. My absolute only complaint is the slight gap it can leave between the front fascia and the rest of the dash. But it's so cheap for the price that it's not really a huge complaint. Otherwise fits perfectly with my 05" Cobalt and looks pretty decent.

Scosche product. Packaging and website says 2005 and up. However, turn the package over and the instructions say 2004-2011. Sure, I have a 2012 Silverado 1500, it says 03/12 on the door. Haven't tried installing it yet, I'm waiting for the Revain head unit interface. Given that if it's the wrong part I'll have to get a new kit and further delaying my project, I'm not happy with the situation. I bought this for my 2009 Chevy Cobalt and it fits perfectly. The frame parts are numbered according to the vehicle and can be easily connected to each other. The screws supplied with the radio are used to attach it to the frame. So easy. The candles were the only part I had to work on. Physically they fit and seat correctly, but the 8 speaker wires are in the wrong place on my Cobalt. A lot of people break their hearts here. Not. Pros: I needed it to fit my 2006 Saturn Ion and it fits. Pro: The quick start guide told me which parts to use to install it on my car. Cons: It doesn't come with the screws needed to attach a stereo or even attach a bag. The screws required (for my setup) were 10-24 x 3/8". Seems particularly bad and was a little warped on top.
