Actually, I REALLY like the idea of having the phone on the air vent. But I bought this item 3 times. The first lasted a while then broke so I ordered the last two (like I said). The first one broke right away. Pooh! I'm on the last one and I hope it won't break for a long time. I have to send another one back. ☹

Bought 4 of these scosche and they are fine but clips only last a few weeks and if they break you can't order them anywhere else. Perfect phone holder but clips are not as good as phone holders. Now I have to contact the company to get the clips and they are not available on any website to order.

This device really suits everyone. Mounting options combined with the ability to mount a variety of devices make this device an excellent choice. I've used two of these in my employer's car for about 6 months with no problems and in daily use through significant temperature extremes. Recently put on a motorbike, no problems so far. The quality of the supplied components (mounting options) is good to very good.

This thing is awesome. I tried a few others that fell off the windshield or had parts that had to be super glued together to stay in place or by hand so they could be altered in other ways. This one is definitely the best. It has a large suction cup that sticks to my window with ease, the sides press down gently and it holds my phone firmly. There is a little "shake" but when the car is in motion you hardly notice it, you shouldn't shoot the star. Addendum: I had to glue the padding on one side

This is a very easy to use and install kit. I use it with a suction cup on my windshield. It can be removed just as easily as with the built-in lever. The phone attaches to the mount very easily and holds it securely.
