Poor quality, poor design/construction, fragility. I found that it came loose after only 1 week of use and then broke about 2 months later where the lever connects to the plastic base (see photo). This material is not suitable for use in a part that is subject to relatively high torsional forces. You don't have to be an engineer to understand that this is just bad design. I would advise avoiding this brand and considering something that will last more than a few short months.

I bought the dash mount version from Scosche and it was 5 stars - perfect. But since my truck didn't run smoothly, I bought this version that plugs into the cigarette lighter. Epic piece of shit! The idea behind it is pretty cool, but the plugin is weak at best. My wife hit it and the plug broke in the socket and actually damaged the socket so it stopped working. The gooseneck part works great, looks good. I had to remove the cover and magnets as my wife uses a pop socket and a phone case that holds a credit card (anti-card magnets would be bad). It's almost perfect - the big problem as mentioned in another 1 star review is that the Adhesive loosens from brackets in hot weather. The adhesive sticks to the dashboard but peels off the mount in hot weather. It happened to me twice. This is frustrating because otherwise the mount holds my S3 well with a case. I took it out of the box and taped it to the phone first. I already had a small metal plate on the outside of the case because my previous mount was magnetic.
