youtube by an Idaho artist recommended it for easy removal as well as keeping the paint on the wall or trim and not the other. I taped the ceiling and got great lines without worrying about the paint sticking to the wall. I can only recommend this band!

I paid extra for a good, reliable product. I used to buy cheaper tapes that didn't stick well or broke too easily. Unfortunately, I didn't use the band until after the return period. The contractor's mark must have "strong" adhesion. The buns I received didn't even stick to themselves! I suspect it's a manufacturing defect but I'm still stuck with 6 reels that are unusable!

One thing we use all-purpose tape for is marking things that our kids take to school. This tape has a higher tack than other masking tapes we've used, so it's more prone to tearing when you try to unroll it. It's a bit annoying. This is good quality tape - not too flimsy - and is clearly a bit stronger than cheap brands. I think it would be better labeled as a high performance product than an all purpose product and would be handy if it could be done with a little less hassle.

Can't unpack! I've used about 10 rolls of these in the last month with great results. That last order was rubbish. You can't even remove all the plastic wrap from the tape. I have used five of the six rollers that came with this set so far. Usually the problem with tape is whether it sticks or not. It's about as sticky as any other masking tape, assuming you get a usable piece. If you unroll a piece longer than 1 inch, the tape will tear. Then you need to stop, glue the end piece to the roll and rip it off to get a fairly straight edge. Perhaps the person does not remove the protective outer covering that seals the tape and makes it visible. to know you have an unused reel to use. In my experience buying cheap tape, no matter how cheap, is a false economy. Difficult to work with to get it off the roll and can stick too well or not well enough. So you spend a lot of time trying to get an inferior product to work. High quality masking tape unwinds easily and smoothly.
