This product is terrible. The tape is so thin that it peels off in strips and pieces. Amazon should be ashamed of selling such junk.

I bought this to have sharp edges on my watercolors but the tape tore the paper. Not intended for paper but I think it might work on canvas.

I bought this tape to have a spare on hand when ordering at home. Decorating walkways and fences at home with 4 children. It's just duct tape. I've used it on a concrete driveway and sidewalk, a wooden fence, and on my plastic containers to mark all food going into the freezer. A good thing to have on hand.

Whenever I'm having a really good day and feeling overwhelmed by the beauty in life, I correct my over-optimistic mood by trying to get a few clean cuts of 3M tape without the occasional horrible one to remove cracks. no Every time I try, I'm reminded of the futility of all things, of the lack of perfection in the world, and I'm forced to remind myself that life is a barren field of disappointment, devoid of joy. Annoying. Tape breaks and breaks unevenly. It sticks to you better than whatever you stick it to. Sticks to itself better than anything. I constantly struggled with this roll of tape, it coiled up, wouldn't stick to the trimmed boards (the trimmed boards were washed and dried). Every time I pulled the tape it broke. I have used masking tape to paint and repair cars for over 20 years and from all my experience this is one of the worst tapes I have ever used. I recommend you to buy 3M or generic.

I used to buy masking tape, it sucks because it doesn't stick any better than regular tape. Then I've had ones that almost stick to the object and are so sticky that they can't be removed without scraping them off. That's great! I use it to tape dog pads to the floor when my lab gets sick and I don't want the pads to shift. I also use it to stick napkins on the table when my preschool class is working on a messy craft. Would give this device ZERO stars if I could. Used this on a metal door to do some color inlays. Painted the door 2 weeks prior with Rust-Oleum white paint. Lined up the inserts, sealed the sides/ends and got to work. Took the tape off this morning and it's a hot mess. Even at a 45 degree angle as intended, the tape doesn't peel off in clean layers. The first thing that struck me was the lack of a clear spot to start the roll. Eventually I noticed that it was slightly scratched in a couple or three spots, so I took a serrated knife to one of those spots. Then I tried to peel off a piece of tape. nope Strips and pieces, nothing whole. I finally peeled it off in one piece, cut off the strips and tried again. Stripped off again. Heavy duty wide masking tape. I used it to tape the walls around door frames that I was painting as well as tape over hardware that couldn't be removed. The tape peels off and easily sticks in long pieces. It holds up well and the paint doesn't seem to bleed underneath even though I've only pressed it lightly against the wall. When removed at the recommended 45 degree angle, it came off in one piece just as easily. I usually double the part on top for easier pulling later. Smaller parts are…
